Fly high Paddy … you left a legacy that will live forever… I was truly blessed the day I walked into Aston Villa Amateur Boxing Club …because of your time, your patience, your effort and your commitment and let’s not forget your jokes which never stopped haha …to us kids you gave us a sanctuary and for me a future,a horizon which I didn’t knew existed and which changed my life forever … I will always be indebted to you as nothing I have or would ever have could compensate…

Massive love to the Martin family my love for your family is unconditional.
Big love Jimi and Teejay ❤️

I have nothing but happy thoughts that always brings a smile when ever I think of Paddy.
He always had a story to tell a big smile and was surrounded by positivity.
He coached my brother through some fights and even got my dad in the ring to fight George at the Britannia in Aston dresses as a German !
Always surrounded by loved ones and always loved.
Rest in Peace Paddy - our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family in this difficult time 💔💔💔

I was absolutely devastated to learn of the passing of a true boxing legend and comedian that I looked upon as a Father figure when I was growing up. Paddy lit up every room that he entered and will leave an empty void to everyone who knew him, God won't know what's hit him. Thank you for all the special memories Pad and for helping make me the man I am today. Love and blessings to Carmel and all the family xxx

Paddy was a great man who lived an influential life. To give so much to so many, and to be such a positive force in the community you live in, is testament to a life well lived. You did it your way, and everyone loved you for it. Well played Paddy Martin
